The living room.

We´re back in the living room, floors finished and all. I am so glad! It´s such a cozy room, and I love the new blonde floors in here. It looks so much brighter and fresher.
A few remarks... The sofa (Ikea) faces our little wood stove which you can´t see here. To make this possible, the sofa stands right in the middle of the room which works really well here I think. You already know the cabinet - it´s an Ebay find which I painted a blue-ish gray. Pillows and throw are H&M.
The little table is another Ebay find, I love it! I made the cloud lamp along the directions from Lena Corwin´s wonderful book "Printing by Hand". You can´t buy or make the cute cat, sorry.
The view back to the hallway and dining room. I think the new floors look so pretty! I always wanted to have a rocking chair like this and was so happy when I scored this beauty on Ebay. The pretty crocheted rug in the hallway is from le souk.

Wonderful! Your rooms all reflect your style so well, a bit moody, very personal and clean. Compliments go to the floors but also to your photos, I wish I could reach this level one day. They serioiusly look like they've been torn out of a mag. Would you mind sharing what camera you use?
And - I can't overlook the cutest art-wallish grouping in the corner!

Frau Mayer, ich habe eine Nikon D90 und eine Canon G9. Diese Fotos hier habe ich mit der Canon geschossen, weil ich immer noch kein Weitwinkel-Objektiv für die Nikon habe - ansonsten verwende ich mittlerweile vor allem die Nikon. Wobei die Canon G9 eine großartige kleine Kamera ist!
Emma, die kleinen Wandlampen sind von Neckermann (Schande!). Ich habe überall nach Wandlampen gesucht, die mir gefallen, ohne Glück... und Neckermann hat überraschenderweise recht hübsche und preiswerte Lampen!

Bin gerade auf der Suche nach einem neuen DSLR-Opfer (nach einem Hauseinbruch im Herbst befindet sich meine Canon EOS an einem mir leider unbekannten Ort), habe mir allerdings bereits eine kleine Canon zugelegt (SX220). Ich bin zwar begeistert, von solcher unglaublichen Schärfe wie auf deinen Bilder kann ich aber nur träumen.
Dürfte ich dich eventuell zu deinem Fotokurs kurz befragen? Bin da sehr neugierig...

Hey :) mir gefällt der "gehäckelte" Teppich super...hast du die 80cm oder 150 Veriante?
Dann wollte ich nochmal fragen weil auf der Website findet man insgesamt 3 Bilder und das 3. Bild ist sehr "lückig" gehäckelt ist das bei deinem dann auch so oder ist der eher wie auf den anderen 2 Bildern.

Tamara, ich habe die große Variante. Das "lückige" Foto zeigt glaube ich die kleine Version. Mein Teppich ist eher so wie auf den anderen beiden Fotos - nicht ganz gleich aber, die Beschreibung sagt ja auch dass jeder Teppich anders aussieht.
