Upstairs.

A few pictures of the progress we´re making upstairs.

All the doors have been painted Oval Room Blue, and the floor boards (which you can´t see in these pictures, but here) Cornforth White. Both the floors and the doors are knotty pine - way too much cheap wood for my taste so there was no way I could have left them unpainted. I´m happy with the grey floors and super happy with the blue doors, they make me smile whenever I go upstairs.

Otherwise, not much decorating has happened upstairs. The bedroom for example needs some love urgently. The room is rather large and we just put our old bed in it... not very cozy. The walls need to be painted, we need some kind of storage (a dresser?) and a rug and I´d like to have a sofa to go under sloping roof. Oh and I want a new bed, I´m eying this headboard. Well, all in good time.
